Focus Continues To Expand Presence Of Partner Firms

New York, NY – July 9, 2018 – Focus Financial Partners (‘Focus’), a leading partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms, today announced that it has closed two mergers on behalf of its partner firm Buckingham Strategic Wealth (‘Buckingham’).
- Father-son team Jay Wirig and J.P. Wirig have joined Buckingham as wealth advisors. The Wirigs specialize in serving medical and dental professionals, broadening Buckingham’s niche service approach. Additionally, the team will open a new office in Walnut Creek, California, expanding Buckingham’s presence in the Bay Area to three offices.
- Arnett Carbis Toothman Wealth Advisors (‘ACT’), an independent wealth management firm, has merged with Buckingham. Established in 2002, the firm is headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia, with a satellite office in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Stemming from ACT’s membership in The BAM ALLIANCE, Buckingham’s sister company and a nationwide community of independent advisory firms, the merger expands Buckingham’s national presence across a total of 17 states.
